On March 1st and 2nd 2023, at Seminar Hall 2, Serapi Hotel, Kuching, a total of 27 employees of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) attended a filing and storage management course.

 

Multi-level employees from each department and division of LAKMNS were included among the participants. One of the goals of this course was to improve filing and store management.

 

Mr. Mohd Rashid bin Kanchil, a guest speaker who has extensive knowledge of 5S practises in federal and state government offices, delivered the course. Puan Megawati Binti Haji Julaihi, Chief Officer, Department of Management and Services, LAKMNS, completed the presentation of participation certificates as the course concluded.

02 March 2023 : The retirement ceremony for Puan Rosila Binti Kiflie,Academic Teacher,Tahfiz Kindergarten Tun Abdul-Rahman Ya'kub, was held on this day. She has been employed by LAKMNS since April 4, 2011, and her total service time was 11 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

 

The management and employees at LAKMNS extend their deepest gratitude to her for her contributions and dedication throughout her employment at LAKMNS.

A total of 29 employees of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) attended the "Positive Team Transformation" Series 1/2023 LAKMNS Course, on February 18–20, 2023, at Sumiran Eco Park & Resort, Kuching.

 

 

Participants included employees from each department and division of LAKMNS in a variety of positions. Participants in this course were exposed to the significance of improving work attitudes, which are the most valuable resources in organisational development. This course programme which emphasized cooperation, communication, decision-making, planning, strategic and creative thinking, leadership, and the capacity to solve problems and tasks, has implemented a variety of group training activities with the concept of team-building.

On the last day of the course, the adjournment ceremony was completed by the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai.

In his speech, Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap highlighted the expectations for the staff, including that participants demonstrate a positive work ethic. The participants are committed to carrying out their responsibilities at all times and are open to accepting changes to the organization's rules and regulations.

Also present at the event were Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr Mohamad Feisal bin Said, Chief Officers and Heads of Divisions of LAKMNS as well as Mr Raja Azukri, Manager of Masja Properties Sdn Bhd and Major (B) Mohammad Anuar Harun from Mastery Prolink Sdn Bhd. as a facilitator for this course program.

A total of 36 staff members of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) attended the LAKMNS Series 5 Staff Induction Course on February 15 and 16, 2023, at the Seminar Room, Baitul Makmur II.

 

 

 

Participants are made up of LAKMNS staff from various positions and departments. This programme is an introduction to the departments and divisions that make up the LAKMNS organization. In addition, the participants also did group activities as an objective to create the value of cooperation among the participants.

LAKMNS Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, concluded the adjournment ceremony on the second day.


In his speech, Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap hoped that the LAKMNS staff would practice a culture of mutual cooperation despite different departments or divisions.


He added that LAKMNS always strives to hold various programmes that are seen as having the potential to unite all staff in the hope that they can interact and work together despite different departments and divisions.
He also expressed the importance of staff always making changes to be more "multitasking," improve integrity, and be more dynamic with the passage of time to face any challenges in achieving progress in line with the main goals of LAKMNS.


This course also received the services of a sign language interpreter, Mrs. Lorraine Mitchrelle Dores to facilitate the delivery of information to special participants among the LAKMNS staff.

Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohamad Feisal bin Said, and the chief officers and heads of divisions of LAKMNS.

2nd February 2022 – The Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak State Mosque Charitable Trust Board (LAKMNS) reminded the members of the LAKMNS Auxiliary Police that the promotions of their ranking come with greater responsibility.

 

 

 

According to him, the duty was in accordance with Police Act 1967 which outlines the responsibilities, which included Auxiliary Police, among them was to look after security and crime prevention.

He stated that when officiating the LAKMNS Auxiliary Police Rank Conferment Ceremony today in Seminar Room, Baitul Makmur II. During the event, 21 members of the LAKMNS Auxiliary Police received their promoted rank.

The inaugural ceremony, according to Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap, was meant to honor the LAKMNS Auxiliary Police personnel who had rendered outstanding service. It also served as inspiration for others to succeed in carrying out their duties.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer Encik Mohamad Feisal bin Said, LAKMNS Chief Officers, and Divisional Heads were among those present.
