KUCHING – The public can now have a simple access to the digital radio operated by LAKMNS through a mobile application for free from Google Playstore and Appstore.

The ceremony was held at LAKMNS headquarters and officiated by LAKMNS honoray secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Bujang bin Mohd Nor.

IRIS also broadcasted public announcement regarding latest issues such as Covid 19 outbreak. Other than that, the listener also have access to latest updates about Sarawak State Mosque and Kuching City Mosque’s programs.

IRIS has been broadcast for over the past three month on Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm is based on Islamic Infotainment concept. The idea behind IRIS is to providing an effective platform for deliver information not just about LAKMNS but many more of Sarawak Islamic agencies. There are various interesting segments on IRIS for all type of listener regardless of age.

Also present at the ceremony were YBhg Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap Bin Haji Abang Julai, Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, Encik Mohamad Feisal bin Said, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, Chief Officers, and LAKMNS Division Heads.
