TATTARY CELEBRATES ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY

Today, Tadika Tahfiz Tun Abdul-Rahman Ya’kub (TATTARY) commemorated its 15th anniversary at an event held in Dewan Majma’ Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah. The ceremony was officiated by the President of SABATI, YABhg Puan Sri Datuk Amar Hajah Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Haji Bujang, represented by SABATI Deputy President, YBhg Dato Hajah Dayang Morliah binti Datuk Awang Daud.
TATTARY, a kindergarten focused on Tahfiz education, is managed by Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) and has been in operation since 2010. The kindergarten was initially established based on the vision of the former Chief Minister of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud (Almarhum Tun Pehin Sri).

In his welcoming remarks at the event, the Honorary Secretary of LAKMNS, YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr.) Haji Abdul Aziz bin Dato Haji Husain, stated that LAKMNS, as TATTARY’s operator, remains committed to providing a conducive educational environment for TATTARY students.

He also shared that since 2022, LAKMNS has sponsored 15 TATTARY staff members, comprising management and teaching staff, to pursue undergraduate and diploma studies in early childhood education at Open University Malaysia (OUM).
During the event, Dato Hajah Dayang Morliah also launched a book entitled “TATTARY, 15 Years of Creating Memories, Shaping the Future.”

The ceremony was attended by LAKMNS board members, Chief Executive Officer YBhg Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, senior management from LAKMNS, and other distinguished guests.
