CEO MESSAGE

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh dan Salam Sejahtera.

All praise and gratitude be to Allah SWT. With His infinite mercy and will, we are blessed to welcome the month of June 2025 in good health and peace. Salutations and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, and his noble companions.

Alhamdulillah, we have now entered the month of October, a month of great significance for the Sarawak State Mosque Welfare Trust Board (LAKMNS). On 5 October, we will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Sarawak State Mosque, an institution that stands as a symbol of Islamic presence and a center for the enrichment of the Muslim community in the state. This celebration not only commemorates a meaningful journey spanning more than three decades but also provides an opportunity for us to strengthen the mosque’s role as a hub for spiritual development, knowledge, and unity of the ummah.

In alignment with this commitment, LAKMNS continues to strengthen its focus on human capital development through a range of strategic initiatives. Among the key priorities is the Young Executive Program (YEP), designed to nurture officers who serve as the backbone of LAKMNS’s daily operations. Through such initiatives, it is envisioned that LAKMNS will cultivate a pool of professional, high-caliber officers who embody integrity, excellence, and competitiveness in advancing the organization’s mission.

In addition, on 25–26 October, LAKMNS is honoured to co-organize the Rihlah Dakwah program with Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin. Further details of this program will be shared on our official Facebook page in due course.

In this regard, I warmly welcome the community to participate and enliven the programs organized by LAKMNS. The presence and support of all parties are vital to ensure that our mission to strengthen the institution of the mosque and the Muslim community in Sarawak continues to be realized successfully.
In conclusion, may all our efforts be blessed and accepted by Allah SWT and bring benefit to the ummah as a whole.
