CEO MESSAGE

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera.

All praise and thanks be to Allah SWT for granting us the breath of life and the opportunity to continue living until this day, as we count the days towards the arrival of the 1st of Ramadan 1447H.

In welcoming this noble and blessed month, it has become a tradition of the Sarawak State Mosque Welfare Trust Board (LAKMNS) to enliven the month of Ramadan through the implementation of various religious and community-based programmes. As in previous years, the Tarawih prayers will be led by selected hafiz imams.

Among the programmes that have been arranged are the Nisfu Syaaban Commemoration, the Gotong-Royong Perdana (communal clean-up) at the cemetery, weekly tazkirah sessions, Haflah al-Quran, i‘tikaf, and many other programmes to be conducted at Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak and Masjid Bandaraya Kuching. InsyaAllah, detailed information on each programme has been shared through our official Facebook platform.

Accordingly, LAKMNS extends a formal invitation to the local Muslim community to collectively participate in and enliven the programmes that have been planned. LAKMNS also welcomes parties interested in establishing collaborations, whether through corporate social responsibility initiatives or other appropriate forms of cooperation.

May Allah SWT ease all that has been planned, and may He grant us the opportunity to reach the blessed month of Ramadan al-Karim.
