Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera.

Welcome to the official website of the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS)!

Alhamdulillah, we have celebrated the month of Syawal with gratitude and meaningful reflection. May all the lessons and wisdom gained throughout Ramadan and Syawal continue to flourish within us, and be practiced with sincerity, wisdom, and steadfastness in our daily lives.

On behalf of LAKMNS, I would like to express our highest appreciation and sincere gratitude to the Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak and Chairman of LAKMNS, for his continuous commitment in strengthening the development of mosque institutions as the core foundation of LAKMNS’s role. This commitment was clearly demonstrated when he received a courtesy visit from the LAKMNS top management on 6 March.

In line with this, our commitment at LAKMNS is to ensure that both Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak and Masjid Bandaraya Kuching continue to play a significant role in the development of the ummah, encompassing religious activities, education, social initiatives, and the economic empowerment of the local Muslim community.

In conclusion, we at LAKMNS will continue striving to enhance the role of mosques as dynamic, inclusive, and progressive centers for the unity of the ummah. The support and cooperation of all parties are greatly appreciated in ensuring that all planned initiatives and programmes are successfully implemented.

May every effort we undertake be blessed by Allah SWT and bring lasting benefits to the community. Thank you for your continuous support for LAKMNS.
