LAKMNS Holds Auxiliary Police Assembly and Promotion Ceremony

The Security Division of the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) today organised an Auxiliary Police Assembly with the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, YBhg. Datu Haji Abdul Hadi bin Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir, at Baitul Makmur II.

The event also featured a Promotion Ceremony involving 16 Auxiliary Police personnel, in recognition of their commitment, dedication and sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties.

In addition, a special appreciation was presented to Corporal Muhd Ridhzuan Hakimi bin Mohd Khairy, an Auxiliary Police officer who demonstrated prompt action and courage in responding to a fire incident on 30 June 2026. His immediate response reflected the high level of preparedness and concern demonstrated by LAKMNS security personnel in safeguarding the organisation’s staff and premises.

The ceremony also featured the symbolic handover of T-Batons, presented by the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS to the Acting Head of the Security Division, Inspector Yusuf bin Nassir. The handover symbolised the readiness and continued commitment of the Auxiliary Police personnel in carrying out their daily security responsibilities.

Also in attendance were Deputy Chief Executive Officer Encik Mohamad Feisal bin Said, LAKMNS Management Officers, and invited guests.

The event served as a platform to recognise the contributions and achievements of LAKMNS Auxiliary Police personnel, while further strengthening their commitment to professionalism, discipline and preparedness in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them.
