ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION DIVISION

The Research and Development Division was renamed the Publicity and Communication Division on December 1, 2019, following visits to mosques in Singapore and a Management Retreat in Johor. Retreat Management 1.0 was led by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, the Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak. On 2024 the division has been renamed as Administration and Communication Division. The division’s abbreviation is ADCOM.

The main objective of establishing ADCOM is to provide a publicity platform to introduce Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) on a global level, in line with LAKMNS's vision of becoming a world-class Islamic trust body.

SECURITY DIVISION

The Security Division is responsible for maintaining, preserving, and enhancing public order, safeguarding the property and assets owned by LAKMNS, and improving the effectiveness of rule enforcement within its controlled areas.

EDUCATION DIVISION

One of the roles of LAKMNS is to provide educational facilities for Muslims in Sarawak. Starting in 1997, the MASJA-SA Excellence Center began operating by offering Quran classes and academic tuition classes. In 2010, LAKMNS took a step further by expanding its role in tahfiz education with the establishment of Tadika Tahfiz Tun Abdul Rahman Ya’kub.

The Education Division was established in 2013 to oversee and monitor the operations of the MASJA-SA Excellence Center and Tadika Tahfiz Tun Abdul Rahman Ya’kub.
