Aidilfitri Prayers 2025

Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, His Excellency Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, joined the congregation in performing the Aidilfitri Sunnah prayers at Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak.

Accompanying His Excellency were the Premier of Sarawak, The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, along with several other state dignitaries.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Honorary Secretary of the Sarawak State Mosque Welfare Trust Board (LAKMNS), Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Abdul Aziz bin Dato Haji Husain, Board Members, Chief Executive Officer Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, and LAKMNS senior management.

The Aidilfitri prayers were led by the Grand Imam of Sarawak, Sahibul Fadhilah Dato’ Haji Mustapha Kamal bin Ahmad Fauzi, who also delivered the Eid sermon titled “The True Meaning of Aidilfitri Victory.”

Meanwhile, at Masjid Bandaraya Kuching, the Aidilfitri prayers were led by al-Fadhil Ustaz Haji Syed Abdul Aziz bin Haji Wan Yusuf, who proceeded to deliver the khutbah (sermon) following the prayers.
