LAKMNS today held a Majlis Kesyukuran in conjunction with the 35th anniversary of the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque.

The event was organized to express gratitude for the achievements and journey of the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque over the past 35 years in fulfilling its role as a center of worship and community development for the local Muslim community.

In addition, the 35th anniversary celebration also served as a platform for LAKMNS to share the latest information regarding its initiatives, plans, and strategic direction, particularly those related to the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque.

The Sarawak State Jamek Mosque was officially inaugurated on 5 October 1990 by His Excellency the Governor of Sarawak, Tun Datuk Patinggi Haji Ahmad Zaidi Adruce bin Mohammad Noor.

Present at the ceremony were the Honorary Secretary of LAKMNS, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Abdul Aziz bin Dato Husain, Members of the LAKMNS Board, Chief Executive Officer YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, as well as LAKMNS management and staff.
